It's official! Junie and Niña are bound to say "I do" 365 days from today.
There's no turning back now. Engagement's been made public already.
I've known the couple more over beer and good food. Niña and I execute the same antics in the office. Although both of us cringe at the thought, of how similar we are in a lot of things. When one of us invites the other to Rue Bourbon (our MacLaren's Pub), and some colleagues would also join us, Junie would come by later. So, over alcohol and grease, I've shared and bickered with this couple more than any other else. The two would gang up on me on how less tall (better sounding) I am and that I think (and Junie insist I also look) like a 30-year old. Darn. There's really no winning against the duo. My boyfriend doesn't want to mess with them, so he hasn't joined us for drinks. Ever. Ten years in the relationship, I jokingly try to get in between them. (Tip: Ask Niña to show a photo of me in her wallet.)
This blog is called Project 365 (3-6-5, don't put them together) and aims to document each sunrise and sunset leading to the day Junie and Niña say "I do" to one another. (Please help remind me so I won't miss a day, or else it won't be 365 anymore.)
